I have to agree with you. It’s a good series. Frankly, I’d rather watch it with English subtitles. It’s really good but the English version. I watched the whole season and it feels like I’ll read the lines and then get my paycheck. They don’t feel like oh wow this is amazing. I’m gonna love this. In the English, they sound cold desperate what’s an arguing dead inside and waiting for their paycheck? Plus when I saw Markiplier when he said he plays 505 I was actually excited for the show like Hazbin Hotel and helluva boss but I can’t wait for the next season. I’m too excited for it and I hope they have more awesome episodes.

The Hat Men are Shadow entities that parasite and feed of of the penumbra of the human soul. They show up especially to people tripping on benedryl, LSD and during sleep paralysis. They work by making bargans with the deep buried mysteries of who we are. They share a hive mind reflected in the hat. There are different types of Hat Men though. It is curious to see so much esoteric lore presented in this show. I love this.

I loved this summary of LMK, very cool as a show. Seeing characters I grew up with in Legos makes me so happy! I would love to add some things as fun facts though (I'm Malaysian myself, growing up with these stories was a big deal for me) Praying you've seen s3&4 already, let's talk about what else LMK references:)! Let's use a character that appears in a lot of Chinese media that is in LMK but we sadly only saw a bit of, he has his own Lego figure thankfully. That would be Erlang Shen(二郎神) also known as Yang Jian! Osp's summary of JttW talks about him at the very start of the series, with him and Wukong having a transformation battle. He is loosely in JttW thought, as you know the JttW focuses more on the demons of Chinese mythology + the journey with the monk and his companions! But, LMK references more than just one Chinese novel. Investiture Of The Gods also known as Fengshen Yanyi (封神演義) is a story more focused on the Gods and goddesses of Chinese mythology. Character, story, and references wise, much more focus on Erlang as well (my boy!!) Erlang is also in Chinese stories listed as following : Lotus lantern ((宝莲灯)) The Story of the Three-eyed God and the Nine-headed Bird(二郎神大战九头鸟) And many more that are just small folk tales ! I used Erlang as an example to show how much references are linked to the characters in LMK that also appear not only in JttW but other Chinese medias! If you've been learning about JttW I highly recommend looking into the other classic Chinese novels as they remark an importance in the times of the actual dynasties of China (well also throwing in some fun storytelling) The four classic Chinese novels are: "Journey to the West" (西游记) Chapters - 100 "Water Margin" (水浒传) Chapters - 120 (wowie , I know) "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" (三国演义) Chapters - 120 "Dream of the Red Chamber" (红楼梦) Chapters - 120.. But those are just the most important writings of China, there are more wonderful novels that have english scripts somewhere! Have fun doing with what you wish with this information! (Side note, hope you're doing well!)

I wish they didn't rush the final season. They did a good enough job with Season 4 that it didn't ruin the series, however every time I watch it, the end feels very rushed. The Seasons ranked IMO: 4th: Season 4, it has no real overarching storyline, making the episodes much less cohesive. Instead, it has 4 separate stories (Carmen finding her mother, Robo-spies, History of VILE and Evil Carmen) stuffed into the second shortest season making it all feel rushed. My BIGGEST gripe with the season is how easily Carmen was captured. 3rd: Season 3, it's a big step up from 4, and I love the mask theme. Even if it's the shortest, they used their time effectively giving us 5 unique capers. My only disappointment is how dirty they played my guy Roundabout. He honestly could have been a serious force to counter Carmen, but was taken out in a single episode despite how powerful we've seen him be. 2nd: Season 1, it's a great start to a show, and probably my favourite first season of any animated show I've seen. It gives us an iconic story with fun and relatable characters. If ever you say Carmen Sandiego, I'll think of a scene from this season. The only reason it isn't first is because the next is better. 1st: Season 2, it was an amazing next step for the show, introducing interesting new characters with each caper, like Lady Dokuso, Neal the Eel, and Roundabout, among others. I love how each caper is orchestrated by different VILE members (it gives the season more variety) trying to take Shadowsan's old faculty seat. The addition of Roundabout to the faculty was very promising for the final seasons, unfortunately he only shined in this season because the writers for seasons 3 and 4 clearly don't know how to write a main antagonist, and wrote him out as quickly as he was written in. However, the season on its own is amazing, it's in my top 5 seasons of animated shows for a reason. I could go on a whole tangent about how badly they handled Roundabout. It looked like they wanted to go down a single main antagonist route, but chickened out, however they already wrote him into the main story, so hastily wrote him out, hoping no one would notice, but forgetting the whole reason he was added to begin with was to fill Shadowsan's seat, however after Roundabout is kicked out, this empty seat never seems to cause any issues, despite a major plot point in Season 2 is that they can't operate properly with only 4 faculty members.

This vid got recommended. Eobard had to be forgiven, Barry hating him was the reason why he was a paradox. The moment Barry forgave him, he was grounded; And that allowed Barry to reset Thawne's time. Basically him being such a monster to Barry, is literally the only way for him to be able to interact with him. He also served as sort of a foil to Barry; Barry tried to abuse the speedforce once to save his mom, same thing Eobard tried to do (It just escalated to the point of what DB showcased).
